Anacortes Arts Festival

The 52nd annual Anacortes Arts Festival takes place in August 2013. The Festival includes 250 juried booth artisans, two stages of free music, regional and ethnic foods, beer and wine gardens, and an active youth area.
At one end of the Festival, Arts at the Port showcases regional fine art in a waterfront setting. Juror Barbara Matisky, from the Whatcom Museum in Bellingham selected 85 artists for the Annual Juried Exhibition. The John L. Scott Focus Gallery features a range of work from four unique regional photographers.
The exciting Experience Art area includes artists demonstrating steamroller block printing, glass blowing, chainsaw carving, wood turning, painting, sculpture, weaving and more. Gorilla/Guerilla Art allows artists the informal opportunity to participate in this area.
